Coolest. Flower. EVER.
My grandmother is an avid gardener. She loves getting new plants, working in her garden and then, enjoying her garden. So it's only fitting that my mom got her a beautiful new plant for her birthday this week. It's the coolest thing I've ever seen. I didn't have time to take many pictures because it was raining, but I just had to get a few pictures!

Is spring here already?
I know I haven't posted every week like I said I would, but I'm going to at least try and blog when I have new pictures.
As much as I love the fall and winter--for it's good-smelling candles, fun scarves, warm fire places, and the holidays-- I love spring! All the flowers springing up and fun sunny pictures to take! It's not really quite spring time yet, but the plants here in TX get confused sometimes. Of course, you can't blame the poor plants when there is a random 95 degree day in the middle of the week! It was back to the 30's and 40's by the weekend, but I had to get some shots of this cool plant, that had sprouted some flowers, before the cold starting killing it again....

I've got some other posts in the works. Plus a little announcement coming, with some "audience participation" required. Stayed tuned in, folks! Or, "follow me"! I'm actually planning on posting a little "tutorial" showing you how to "follow" me and telling you the benefits of following my blog, and all the blogs you read!

I loved the look of this plant. Sort of Japanese-y

About Michele Davis: The Photographer

Before you ask: Yes, I go by my middle name (Michele).
Basic Info:
I'm an on-location photographer living in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Want to know more? Go to my Contact Page and shoot me a message!
My Shooting Style:
My photography style is comfortable and and creative. My number one priority is making sure my subjects are at ease so their personality comes through in their portraits. Second, I love to bring my creative side into shoots and come up with unique things to do during and after (post-processing/editing) to ensure that your images aren't just any run-of-the-mill generic studio portraits. I want your portraits to be unique to you. I want to capture images that you will not only treasure and have to remember a special time in your life, but portraits that you will also look at as your own special pieces of art when you print them and hang them on your walls.
